Peanut

Meet Peanut.

Our resident "Mouser".

Actually you will find that he catches
just about everything, including
birds, squirrels, mice, snakes and even attacks a dog or two.

As cute as he looks, we have learned that we
need to be aware of him.
Peanut loves to play and will attack seemingly out of no where.  Whether you are a horse,
dog, or human,
keep an eye out for flying cats.....

Baby Chicks

Food, Water, Heat and Health

The four most important things to consider when raising baby chickens.

As cute as they are, we are careful not to handle them too much.  Cross- contamination of human and aviary germs can create a problem.  As well as it is easy to over- stress little birds.
We make sure they are taken care of and safe for the first few weeks, then we can handle them a little more.

For more specific care instructions we love the:

Peanut says hello......

Don't mess with a Kangal!

The Kangal Dog is a large, powerful, heavy-boned dog, whose size and proportions have developed naturally as a result of its continued use in Turkey as a guardian against predators.

Your basic Kangal Dog is first and foremost a stock guardian dog and possesses a temperament typical of such dogs—alert, territorial and defensive of the domestic animals or the human family to which it has bonded. The Kangal Dog has strength, speed and the courage to intercept & confront threats to the flocks of sheep and goats that it guards.  Kangal Dogs prefer to intimidate predators but will take a physical stand and even attack if necessary.
